Link Building with Tag Directory Submission

In the last few weeks I have been blogging a lot about link building and various marketing strategies for acquiring one-way links. Free press release services and social networks were covered but there are many other ways you can build Web authority through link building and today, I am going to discuss something a little different that no one seems to talk about; Link building with tag directory submission!

Just like the usual directories you can find on the Web, tag directories offer a listing of websites that are categorized by subject but instead of using title tags and company names to list websites, tag directories use keywords.

Now most SEO specialists would agree on the importance of getting one-way links from authoritative websites and optimizing anchor text so why not use tag directories as part of your link building strategy? Not only there is potential for more traffic and visibility but you also get a good anchor text.

My Favorite: TagDiri!

The best tag directory I found so far is called TagDiri. For about $2 per character, TagDiri allows you to add a permanent do-follow tag using the anchor text of your choice. That’s right. Only $6 for high competitive keywords such as “PPC”, “SEM” and “SEO”! Just compare with PPC costs for such competitive keywords and you will soon realize that it is a good investment. Most categories show a solid PR 4 or 5 and surprisingly, some of them still have less than 10 tags listed so go ahead and reserve yours today!

About Frank Levert

Born in Montreal (Québec), Frank Levert was first introduced to the Web in the late 90’s.

After attending college in Music Business back in 1998, Frank got his first marketing job broadcasting faxes from home for a Canadian book publisher. While fax marketing was fairly successful at the time, the popularity of the Internet was on the rise and it didn’t take him long before he got involved with SEO.

After much research and experimentation, his efforts paid off and he was asked to perform SEO as a freelancer. From that point on he never looked back, improving his Internet marketing skills while working on various projects in the publishing, pharmaceutical, market research, online gambling and software industries to name a few.

Twelve years later, Frank is now the owner of Levert Marketing, a home based Internet marketing company located in Hamilton, ON.

When not fueling on achieving new business goals or sharing his expertise on his Internet Marketing Blog, Frank enjoys hockey, music and spending time with family and friends.
